TAIPEI (TVBS News) — New Taipei Metro Corporation (新北大眾捷運股份有限公司) announced plans to recruit approximately 130 new employees Friday (June 20) to meet the demands of the upcoming Sanying Line (三鶯線) launch next year and its AI-driven transformation. The company aims to fill positions in AI applications, vehicle maintenance, driver roles, and asset development.
The highest starting salary reaches NT$75,000 for AI application strategy researchers. New Taipei Metro Corporation has introduced a rental subsidy to attract talent from outside the region. Employees who do not reside in Taipei, New Taipei, Keelung, or Taoyuan and earn less than NT$40,000 per month can apply for a monthly subsidy of up to NT$4,000.
The company welcomes recent graduates and those interested in public transportation services, noting that most positions do not require prior work experience. Applications are open until noon on July 3, with AI application strategy researcher positions accepting submissions until July 11.
