Lo, who recently disclosed his mother's Alzheimer's diagnosis, described her condition with unexpected tenderness: "It feels like a new beginning every day." Despite knowing his mother will likely forget their conversations moments after they occur, the star expressed determination to bring her to see his performance in the upcoming film "Influencer" (我的網紅女兒, literally "My Internet Celebrity Daughter").
The film marks Lo's return to the big screen after an extended hiatus from acting. In discussing his mother's condition, Lo found unexpected silver linings, characterizing her demeanor as "adorable and carefree" and noting that her memory loss has paradoxically reduced her daily anxieties. "She has fewer worries and is happy every day, which is quite good," Lo remarked with visible emotion.
