TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwanese actess Alice Ko (柯佳嬿) and actor Jasper Liu (劉以豪) attended a media event on Thursday (Jan. 23) to promote their upcoming Netflix comedy, "I Am Married... But!" (童話故事下集). The duo, who portray a married couple in the series, captivated fans with their on-screen chemistry and off-screen camaraderie.
Liu delighted fans by bringing 10 boxes of oranges from his hometown, sharing them with them, and expressing appreciation. Ko appreciated the gesture, calling it heartwarming. The series, set to premiere exclusively on Netflix on Feb. 14, 2025, humorously explores the absurdities of married life, with Liu playing a mama's boy husband.
Ko has been praised for her role, with industry insiders predicting another Golden Bell Awards (金鐘獎) nomination. She may face off against Cheryl Yang (楊謹華) from "Born for the Spotlight" (影后). Ko and Yang have a history of friendly competition, with Ko previously winning against Yang's "A Touch of Green" (一把青) for her performances in "Marry Me, or Not?" (必娶女人).
Ko emphasized her friendship with Yang despite the rivalry, saying she remains unfazed by public speculation.
