LAS VEGAS (TVBS News) — NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang (黃仁勳) unveiled groundbreaking products that promise to revolutionize gaming, autonomous vehicles, robotics, and agentic AI during his CES 2025 keynote on Tuesday (Jan. 7) in Las Vegas. Huang set the stage for technological innovation with his 90-minute speech, addressing over 6,000 attendees at the Michelob Ultra Arena.
The NVIDIA CEO introduced the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, boasting 92 billion transistors and 3,352 trillion AI operations per second. The GeForce RTX 5090 and 5080 desktop GPUs will hit the market on Jan. 30, with more models arriving in February and March. Also, NVIDIA unveiled DLSS 4 and NVIDIA Reflex 2, which enhance performance and reduce latency, alongside new features like RTX Neural Shaders and RTX Mega Geometry.
The NVIDIA Cosmos world foundation model platform emerged as a highlight, promising to transform robotics and industrial AI by integrating generative models and video processing. Huang emphasized its potential, noting its adoption by leading robotics and automotive companies. He also introduced the NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion AV platform, built on the new NVIDIA AGX Thor SoC, which aims to advance autonomous driving with support from automotive giants like Mercedes-Benz, JLR, and Volvo Cars.
In a bid to empower developers, NVIDIA launched AI Blueprints for agentic AI and the personal AI supercomputer Project DIGITS, powered by the GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip. These innovations reflect NVIDIA's commitment to advancing AI technology. Huang concluded by expressing gratitude for the partnerships that have driven NVIDIA's achievements in the past year.
