TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Wowprime Corp. (王品集團) will raise hourly wages for part-time staff starting from NT$210, including an attendance bonus, while full-time positions will see a starting salary of NT$35,800 from New Year's Day 2025, the company announced on Wednesday (Dec. 18). Aiming to attract talent during the post-Lunar New Year job change wave, the company plans to offer 1,200 job openings all year round, focusing on barbecue and hot pot roles.
Full-time employees will receive bonuses in addition to their base salary, with opportunities for up to three salary adjustments annually. The new system includes promotion raises, performance raises in March, and mid-year raises in September, offering store managers the chance to earn an annual salary of NT$1 million. In 2025, hourly wage adjustments for Wowprime's part-time staff will range from 2% to 10%, with the highest hourly rate reaching NT$220, including attendance bonuses.
Hot pot brands under the company can adjust wages upwards based on brand attributes, with maximum hourly rates reaching NT$255, including bonuses and night shift allowances. The company stated that full-time starting salaries, including attendance bonuses, will increase to NT$38,200, representing an 8% increase from the 2024 New Year's recruitment salary. The company will recruit 100 reserve managers and chefs across its five major hot pot brands, offering a starting salary of NT$45,000, with potential raises of NT$25,000 after seven months of training, pushing monthly salaries above NT$70,000.
