TAIPEI (TVBS News) — WeatherRisk (天氣風險) on Friday (Nov. 1) warned of potential tropical disturbances forming east of the Philippines. The organization noted the possibility of these disturbances developing into a tropical depression or typhoon in the latter part of next week, though it remains uncertain if Taiwan will be affected.
WeatherRisk also announced an expected return to typical autumn northeast monsoon conditions this weekend.
The Greater Taipei and the eastern regions will experience sporadic showers, mostly light rain or drizzle, while other areas should see stable weather with mostly cloudy or sunny skies. The organization emphasized that rainfall will be minimal and localized.
WeatherRisk expects the northeast monsoon to dominate, particularly from next Monday to Wednesday. The windward northern and eastern regions will see more pronounced rainfall, and temperatures will drop. Highs are anticipated to fall to between 22 and 24 degrees Celsius. Despite the low likelihood of a typhoon next week, WeatherRisk advises staying informed.
