TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Singer Andy Lau (劉德華) will perform at Taipei Arena (台北小巨蛋) on Friday (Nov. 1), drawing fans eager to purchase merchandise and secure last-minute tickets.
After an 11-year hiatus from performing in Taiwan, Lau initially planned to hold a concert last night. However, Typhoon Kong-rey (康芮) forced organizers to reschedule it to Saturday at noon.
Super Dome (超級圓頂), the event organizer, announced the rescheduling after coordination with relevant parties. They confirmed the original Oct. 31 show would now occur on Nov. 2, with doors opening at 10:30 a.m. Ticket holders must present their Oct. 31 tickets and ID for entry, taking their seats as per the original real-name ticketing system.
Lau arrived in Taiwan on Oct. 30, quietly preparing for his upcoming performances. His wife, Carol Chu (朱麗倩), also made a rare public appearance, accompanying him on the trip.
