TAOYUAN (TVBS News) — Olympic men's doubles badminton gold medalist Lee Yang (李洋) said on Wednesday (Aug. 7) that he hopes to run for president of the Chinese Taipei Badminton Association (CTBA, 中華台北羽球協會) to help more aspiring players.
Lee and his doubles partner Wang Chi-lin (王齊麟) returned to Taiwan after defending their title in men's doubles badminton at the Olympics. The duo defeated their Chinese counterparts, making history for Taiwan in the sport.
