TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwan Suzuki (凱騰鈴木汽車) launched its new Nangang District (南港區) showroom in Taipei City on Thursday (Aug. 1), aiming to break traditional boundaries and establish a unique, comprehensive display center.
The facility, strategically located on Nangang Road, offers convenient transportation access and integrates new car displays, vehicle maintenance support, and exclusive owner events. Chairman Yasushi Hasegawa (長谷川靖) of Taiwan Suzuki and Chairman Lin Chuan-kai (林傳凱) led the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
A traditional dragon and lion dance team (醒獅團) performance kicked off the event, adding a festive atmosphere and wishing good fortune for the new showroom. Jet Opto (凱銳集團) invested millions to build this innovative center after acquiring the Suzuki dealership rights this year. Chairman Lin Chuan-kai showcased his customized JIMNY, created in collaboration with Japan's Wald, highlighting his personal passion for the vehicle.
To celebrate the launch and the arrival of the new fourth-generation SWIFT, Taiwan Suzuki will host a "Suzuki VIP Experience" event this weekend (Aug. 3-4). Activities will include DIY magical scented candle-making and a creative car modification exchange. Taiwan Suzuki invites Suzuki owners to register their vehicle data at the showroom to receive a limited-edition stainless steel ice brick set.
