TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC, 台積電) will host its second-quarter investors' meeting at Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, Taipei (台北遠東香格里拉飯店) on July 18, returning to an in-person format.
TSMC's April and May revenues totaled NT$465.64 billion. Analysts predict second-quarter revenue will exceed NT$650 billion, a quarterly increase of 11%. They also expect third-quarter revenue to grow by more than 10%, driven by orders for Apple's (蘋果) iPhone 16 processors and flagship mobile chips from Qualcomm (高通) and MediaTek (聯發科).
As the meeting will unveil the second-quarter financial report and third-quarter outlook, analysts foresee TSMC's third-quarter revenue continuing its growth trend. Meanwhile, they believe the company's annual U.S. dollar revenue will meet its original target, growing between 21% and 26%.
