TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Taiwan Brain Trust (新台灣國策智庫) released a poll on Thursday (June 20), ranking the satisfaction levels of various government department heads, with Minister of Foreign Affairs Lin Chia-lung (林佳龍) topping the list with a satisfaction rating of 55.3%.
The survey revealed that Minister of Digital Affairs Huang Yen-nu (黃彥男) had the lowest satisfaction rating, at just 39.2%, while Legislative Speaker Han Kuo-yu (韓國瑜) was third from the bottom, with a satisfaction rating of 44.1%.
Satisfaction Ratings of Government Officials
The poll also included satisfaction ratings for other government officials. Minister of National Defense Wellington Koo (顧立雄) scored 52.6%, while Minister of Economic Affairs J.W. Kuo (郭智輝) got 51.6%, and Culture Minister Li Yuan (小野) received 49.2%.
Other officials' ratings ranged from 48.9% for Minister of the Interior Liu Shyh-fang (劉世芳) and Minister of Health and Welfare Chiu Tai-yuan (邱泰源), 48.0% for Minister of Environment Peng Chi-ming (彭啟明), 46.2% for Minister of Transportation and Communications Li Meng-yen (李孟諺), 45.9% for Minister of Education Cheng Ying-yao (鄭英耀), 44.4% for Minister of Labor Ho Pei-shan (何佩珊), to 43.0% for Minister of Justice Cheng Ming-chien (鄭銘謙).
The poll surveyed residents of Taiwan's 22 municipalities who are 20 years old or older. The survey was conducted via landline telephone on Jun. 15 and 16. A total of 1,089 valid samples were collected, with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.97 percentage points, at a 95% confidence level. The data were then weighted according to the latest population data from the Ministry of the Interior based on place of residence, gender, age, and education level.
