TAIPEI (TVBS News) — According to a compilation of real estate prices within a kilometer of 36 "star" schools, the highest average transaction price is NT$1.226 million per ping around Jin-Hua Elementary School in the Da'an District, Taipei City.
Jessica Hsu, chief researcher at H&B Realty Co., analyzed that the high housing prices in the Da'an District are due to its comprehensive facilities and prestigious schools.
Hsu pointed out that the average unit price of the four elite schools, over NT$1.1 million, is mostly around Daan Forest Park, a traditional luxury housing cluster.
She shared that the geographical advantage, coupled with the school district's reputation, has kept housing prices at the top of Taipei for many years.
In the Beitou District, three "star" schools made the list, with housing prices around NT$500,000 to NT$700,000. The lowest is around Guandu Elementary School, at approximately NT$542,000.
