YUNLIN (TVBS News) — A 50 kg sow took a leisurely stroll through the streets of Sihu Township in Yunlin County on Monday (April 8), before being corralled by local police.

The sow was discovered by officers Wang An-shun and Ting Hsin-wen from the Feisha Police Station during their patrol.

The officers, in collaboration with the pig's owner, spent approximately 20 minutes guiding the sow back to its pen.

They used sticks and tail-pulling to control the direction of the sow, successfully guiding it back to its pen.

The owner of the sow expressed gratitude to the police for their assistance. He explained that the pig had escaped after its pen was damaged.

The Taixi Precinct praised the Feisha officers for their successful pig herding and reminded pet owners to ensure the sturdiness of their animal enclosures to prevent escapes that could pose safety risks.
