TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Ministry of Labor's Bureau of Labor Funds announced on Monday (April 1) that its February earnings reached a record high of NT$176.38 billion, the highest monthly gain in its history.
As of the end of February, the total size of the labor fund was NT$6.288 trillion, with earnings of NT$252.76 billion after evaluation at the end of February, a return rate of 4.28%.
The Bureau of Labor Funds said the financial market continued to rise in February. Although U.S. inflation data for January was high, it was still on a downward trend.
The labor fund's primary investment goal is to achieve stable returns. Overall, interest rates in major countries are still high, and it is uncertain when central banks will start to cut interest rates.
In addition, the bureau stated that geopolitical conflicts bring uncertainty to the financial market.
