TAIPEI (TVBS News) — South Korean superstar IU, known to her fans both as a singer-songwriter, composer, and actress, launched her world tour, H.E.R, in Seoul on last Saturday (March 2). Her boyfriend and fellow actor, Lee Jong-suk, attended the concert.
Over 10,000 loyal fans packed the venue for the opening night of IU's world tour. The audience also featured several of South Korea's entertainment heavy-hitters. South Korean stars such as Yoo In-na, who is known to be close with IU, and Lee Joon-gi, Yoo Jae-suk, Park Myung-soo, Yang Se-chan, Park Eun-bin, and Mina, HEIZE, were among the attendees. Winter, a member of the South Korean girl group Aespa, and D.O. of the boy band EXO also attended the concert.
Lee Jong-suk, who started dating IU in 2022, wore a baseball cap and a casual checkered shirt and T-shirt. Observers reported that he was cheering for IU in a low-key manner, demonstrating the strong and stable relationship between the couple.
After achieving success with the release of the albums "Real+" and "Last Fantasy" in 2011, IU has solidified her dominant position on the South Korean music charts. Not only has her girl-next-door image been further established, but she has also earned the title of "The Nation's Little Sister."
