TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Japanese actor Mackenyu Arata will hold his first-ever overseas fan meeting at the Taipei International Convention Center on Feb. 24, making him the first Japanese artist to host such an event in Taiwan in 2024.
Mackenyu gained the title of "most handsome Roronoa Zoro" with his performance in the live-action TV adaptation of "ONE PIECE" on Netflix in 2023. Earning a global following, Mackenyu attended comic expos in eight countries, with fans commonly greeting him with "Zoro!"
Expressing a deep appreciation for his Taiwanese fandom's fervor, Mackenyu plans to provide signed posters, group photos, a fan farewell, and an official card to those who purchase tickets for the fan meeting.
Tickets for the "2024 Mackenyu Fan Meeting ASIA TOUR EAST BLUE in Taipei" will go on sale on Feb. 3 on Ticket Plus. Prices range from NT＄2,500 (Section D) to NT＄4,900 (Section A). There are four sections altogether. Section A ticket holders can also purchase a limited 150-set autograph session for an additional NT＄2,000.
