TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Family International Gourmet, a subsidiary of the Taiwan FamilyMart Co., Ltd, announced on Wednesday (Dec. 20), that it will increase salaries by 3-5% in 2024.
The company shared that employees can also expect to receive incentive and performance bonuses for three to eight months of their annual pay.
According to Wu Sheng-fu, chairman of Family International Gourmet, staff members with outstanding performance in 2023 could anticipate an annual salary equivalent to over 20 months, with several million-dollar-a-year store managers already on the team.
Family International Gourmet is planning an active expansion, aiming to add 8-12 new stores each year, the chairman stated.
Starting salaries for new employees will increase from NT$34,000 to NT$36,000, while the entry wage for reserve cadres is pegged at NT$40,000.
By passing training assessments, they can quickly advance to the store manager role, with the opportunity to earn an annual salary exceeding NT$1 million.
The company's latest reported revenues for November accumulated to an impressive NT$19.92 billion, almost a 30% increase year-on-year.
This Thursday, Family International Gourmet is slated to debut on the emerging stock market, as it progresses toward listing on the over-the-counter market.
