TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Inventec Group announced on Monday (Dec. 18) that its annual year-end party is scheduled for Jan. 26 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. Speculation suggests that Taiwanese rock legend Wu Bai may make a surprise appearance as a performer.
This event, hosted by Chairman Sam Yeh for the first time, marks Inventec's return to in-person celebrations since the 2020 COVID-19 outbreak. While Wu Bai's appearance remains unconfirmed, the guest is hinted to be from the rock genre.
Over 6,000 employees are expected to attend, with more than 600 tables arranged for the gala. Executives from Inventec's subsidiaries, including Inventec Appliances, Besta, and AIMobile, are slated to join.
The grand prize for the 2023 bōnenkai is expected to be NT$200,000 in cash, with the possibility of additional top-ups from group executives, potentially exceeding NT$10 million in total prizes.
