TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwan People's Party (TPP) presidential candidate Ko Wen-je criticized his opponents on Thursday (Dec. 7) for postponing the upcoming presidential debate.

He emphasized the need for a debate that's not a spectacle like the Roman Colosseum but devoid of deceit.

During his appearance on a NOWnews talk show, Ko engaged in conversation with show host Chi-Chien Kuo, who impersonated him in a segment.

Ko also commented on the decline in the polls following the breakdown of negotiation talks between the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and the Kuomintang (KMT). He expressed confidence that the TPP still has a chance to reverse the tide in the election.
