TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Amid brisking sales at the 2023 ITF Taipei International Travel Fair (Taipei ITF), EVA Airways President Clay Sun anticipates a robust passenger market in 2024, predicting that high ticket prices will become the norm.
Speaking on the first day of the Taipei ITF in front of a massive model of a Boeing 787 engine at Eva Airways Corp.'s stand, Sun said the company is expecting the delivery of another plane next year.
The EVA Airways exhibit is themed around the celebrated 787 Dreamliner and includes a four-meter-high engine model, simulated wings, and navigation lights, offering a unique experience of the aircraft's comfort.
In an effort to attract customers, the carrier is offering airfares starting at a 28% discount on its official website, along with exclusive benefits for its members until Nov. 26.
Eva is also running a "Fly to Heart's Content" lottery, offering participants the chance to win an all-you-can-fly pass to destinations across Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, Europe, America, and around the globe.
The lottery winners will be drawn over four weeks in November, opening the world to some fortunate travelers.
