TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwan People's Party (TPP) chairman Ko Wen-je plans to hold his first ticketed concert, "KP SHOW," from 3 to 5 p.m. on July 29 in Taipei, despite his previous failed attempt to organize a concert in May.
Physical tickets for the concert are priced at NT$8,800, reportedly to match the highest ticket price for the popular K-pop group BLACKPINK's show in Kaohsiung, whereas tickets for watching online cost NT$500. Tickets are available for purchase starting from July 10 at noon.
The concert's official ticketing website revealed that the event will feature "classic songs, and there will be surprise guests."
Sources within the TPP disclosed that only 342 physical concert tickets are available and shared that since the event will require substantial funding and costs, it is not categorized as a fundraising activity. Instead, it is seen as a gesture of appreciation towards Ko's fans, who have eagerly awaited his singing debut.
