The incident caused the worker to lose consciousness and enter cardiac arrest, leaving him trapped in the shaft. The Taipei City Fire Department swiftly responded to the scene, and the injured worker was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment. Currently, medical staff are working tirelessly to save his life.
The Fire Department is actively investigating the incident to determine the events that led to the accident. Meanwhile, the Inspection Office of Taipei City's Department of Labor has dispatched personnel to the construction site to assess the situation and gather more information, according to reports.
