TAIPEI (TVBS News) — An HTC executive has revealed that the company is expanding its presence in the Metaverse using Mixed Reality (MR) technology headsets.
This announcement was made Tuesday (Feb. 28) during this year's Mobile World Congress (MWC), where HTC showcased some of its new MR technology.
The MR headset displayed at the event can be controlled through hand gestures, eliminating the need for traditional controllers.
This development is "significant," as it lowers the barriers to using MR technology, according to Huang Chao-ying, HTC's Asia Pacific General Manager.
