Taiwan announces 665 job openings in state-owned enterprises (TVBS News)
TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) announced Friday (April 12) that it will hold examinations for new staff positions in four state-owned enterprises, with a tentative total of 665 positions available.
The four enterprises include Taiwan Power Company, CPC Corporation, Taiwan Sugar Corporation, and Taiwan Water Corporation.
The MOEA stated that the starting salary for the new positions will be approximately NT$41,000 to NT$42,000. If there are any adjustments, they will be made according to the adjusted salary standards.
The examination guidelines are scheduled to be announced online on June 12, with the preliminary written test on October 13. There are 23 categories in this recruitment, with the most positions available in electrical engineering (168 positions) and business management (115 positions).
Other categories include human resources, finance, information technology, library information, statistical information, political affairs, legal affairs, land administration, land development, civil engineering, architecture, mechanical engineering, instrumentation, environmental engineering, occupational safety and health, veterinary medicine, agriculture, chemistry, chemical process engineering, geology, and geophysics.
Those who perform well in their jobs and receive excellent assessment scores can expect their monthly salary to rise to nearly NT$60,000 in their fifth year of employment.
The examination guidelines will be announced on the examination website.
