ITF Taipei Int’l Travel Fair sees 76.3% visitor growth (TVBS News)

TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The 2023 ITF Taipei International Travel Fair wrapped up on Monday (Nov. 6) with a four-day total of 344,475 visits, marking a 76.3% growth from 2022, as revealed by the event's statistics.

The Taiwan Visitors Association, the event organizer, noted the the travel fair saw a single-day attendance of 75,917 visitors on its final day.

 


A surge in consumer interest, translating into robust sales performances, was noted by several hotel groups and travel agencies, with several reaping revenues in the millions daily, and a handful realizing cumulative four-day returns exceeding a billion dollars.

Several travel agencies observed Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia as the preferred destinations among the exhibited travel products.

Moreover, as the winter holidays and Lunar New Year approaches, long-haul trips to the Americas, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand also racked up substantial interest among visitors.
 


The 2024 ITF Taipei International Travel Fair is slated to commence its exhibitor registration on Mar. 1, 2024, as the exhibition is scheduled from Nov. 1 to 4, 2024, at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.
