TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an participated in a road run with his three children on Tuesday (Oct. 10) to celebrate Double Tenth Day, embracing the spirit of National Day with a heartwarming family moment.
The Taipei City government organized the road run to commemorate this special occasion. During his address, Chiang emphasized that this marked his first Double Tenth National Day celebration since assuming office, and he expressed his delight at seeing participants coming together with a shared love for the nation.
Chiang's interaction with his three children particularly touched the hearts of many. He explained his children were thrilled to join him in the road run on this meaningful day.
Furthermore, Chiang underscored the abundance of Republic of China (R.O.C.) elements at the event hosted by the Taipei City government.
"The National Day event organized by the Taipei City Government showcases the Republic of China. Participants are adorned in costumes, badges, and wristbands featuring R.O.C. elements," Chiang reiterated.
