TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Several aircraft flew over the Presidential Office building in Taipei on Friday (Oct. 6) morning to rehearse for an air show performance set to take place on Taiwan's 112th Double Tenth ceremony.

The rehearsal unfolded between 5:50 a.m. and 7:15 a.m., with various aircraft types, including the Brave Eagle, Thunder Tigers, AT-3 advanced trainer jets, CH-47SD, and Black Hawk helicopters.

Departing from Hsinchu, a formation of three Thunder Tiger and three Brave Eagle jets took to the sky at around 6:54 a.m., aiming to showcase the exceptional skills of the pilots.

A few minutes later, at 7 a.m., a CH-47SD helicopter appeared in the sky with a giant national flag hoisted and was accompanied by two Black Hawk helicopters.

The Friday rehearsal ended on a high note with six AT-3 advanced trainer jets flown by the Republic of China Air Force Thunder Tigers Aerobatics Team. The jets released blue, white, and red smoke trails, symbolizing the color of the national flag.

Originally scheduled on Wednesday, the morning rehearsal of the armed forces was delayed due to the impact of Typhoon Koinu, marking the final aerial rehearsal before the official National Day celebration next Tuesday.

The National Day Celebration Preparation Committee reminded road users to stay alert of the traffic control near the Presidential Office during the holiday period and advised the public to plan ahead due to possible detours.
