TAIPEI (TVBS News) — From Oct. 6 to Oct. 11, Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation (THSRC) will provide additional transport services to cater to the four-day national holiday need. Ticket sales commenced at midnight on Sept 8.
The Double Ten holiday spans four days this year, from Oct. 7 to Oct. 10.
During the holiday, a total of 184 additional train services will be provided, comprising 80 southbound and 104 northbound journeys. This brings the total number of train services offered during this period to 1,051.
THSR will assign additional personnel at all high-speed rail stations to assist passengers to ensure smooth operations.
Passengers requiring reserved seats must book and collect their tickets in advance.
Additionally, following a makeup working day scheduled for Sept. 23, THSRC will operate three extra northbound trains on that day.
