Taipei Zoo to increase ticket prices for 1st time in 26 yrs.

TAIPEI (TVBS News) — On Wednesday (Sept. 6), the Taipei Zoo confirmed a decision to increase ticket prices starting Feb. 1, 2024.

The regular ticket price will be raised from NT＄60 to NT＄100, although it will remain at NT＄60 for Taipei City citizens.

Concessionary ticket prices will also increase from NT＄30 to NT＄50. 
As the Taipei Zoo is under the supervision of the Taipei City Government's Department of Education, Deputy Director Chen Su-hui confirmed these price changes, stating that the proposal had received approval during a department meeting.

The plan is to report these adjustments to the Taipei City Government and Taipei City Council. The proposal will go through a draft announcement, legislative review, and municipal meetings before implementation.

This move aims to boost revenues after maintaining the same ticket prices for 26 years.
