TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taipei City Government announced on Saturday that the new NT$1,200 monthly public transport pass program will be available for sale from June 15, ahead of the originally planned start date of July 1.

According to the Department of Transportation, Taipei City Government, the early sale aims to prevent crowds of ticket purchases and refunds, as each card can only register one type of monthly pass.
Commuters who wish to purchase the new pass need to terminate and get refunds for the NT$1,280 pass first.
