TAIPEI (TVBS News) — In a recent online interview with TVBS, American actor Michael B. Jordan shared his inspiration and aspirations for his directorial debut in "Creed III," after starring in the first two installments.
Jordan explained that he wanted to expand his skills and explore the character of Adonis Creed by directing the film.
He praised the efforts of the cast and crew and expressed his joy in seeing the final product on the big screen.
Jordan also revealed his love for Japanese anime and its influence on some of the film's scenes, particularly a "double punch."
He felt a deep resonance with the universal themes of anime, from friendships and relationships to betrayal and heartbreak, and found the action scenes influential.
Despite the film's impending release on March 3, Jordan does not feel any added pressure and is solely focused on delivering an immersive experience to fans of the Rocky film franchise by making the fight scenes bigger.
