The team's impressive display on the international stage has filled the nation with pride and emotion.
The metro company has integrated its ticketing system to grant 38 Taiwan Team members, including players and coaches, complimentary access to the Taipei and New Taipei Metro and light rail systems for two years. This gesture signifies the Taipei and New Taipei city governments' appreciation and high expectations for the athletes, encouraging them to continue shining for Taiwan through baseball.
A spokesperson for New Taipei Metro Corporation expressed hope that the Taiwan Team will again represent the nation in the next World Baseball Classic in two years.
