TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Andy Lau (劉德華) will return to Taipei after 11 years to perform at Taipei Arena (台北小巨蛋) from Oct. 31 to Nov. 3. Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an (蔣萬安) expressed his excitement about Lau's upcoming concert, anticipating it will draw more visitors to the city.
Chiang noted that Jacky Cheung (張學友) previously garnered significant attention, too. The summer lineup includes Hikaru Utada, Super Junior, and other international stars, highlighting the city's vibrant entertainment scene.
In addition to Lau's concert, Chiang mentioned that ITZY and other popular groups will perform in Taipei in the second half of the year. Earlier this year, IU, Baby Monster, and HyunA captivated audiences, contributing to Taipei's dynamic cultural landscape.
Chiang believes these events will attract fans from both domestic and international locations, boosting the economy and enhancing the city's appeal. He stated that these activities make our citizens feel fortunate to live in Taipei.
