Chen commented on President Tsai Ing-wen's meeting with Taiwan People’s Party (TPP) Chairman Ko Wen-je a day earlier, emphasizing the importance of balancing power and fostering unity among different political parties.
He further emphasized the government's commitment to maintaining this spirit and expressed eagerness for collaboration not only among all parties across the political spectrum but also between central and local authorities.
Chen stated that this insistence on cross-party dialogue is beneficial and shows the growing maturity of Taiwan's democracy.
