TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Democratic Progressive Party legislator Huang Jie shared on Facebook Tuesday (March 5) that she received yet another email, with a photo of a bullet, threatening her and her team's safety.
The sender of Huang's threat posed as prosecutor Yu Hsiu-duan from the Taoyuan District Prosecutor's Office. In response to these threats, Huang has filed a complaint to local authorities and advised her team to stay vigilant about their safety.
This incident comes shortly after Huang received a separate, offensive letter filled with personal attacks. After collecting evidence of the threat, she promptly reported to the police.
Legislator Lo Chih-chiang of the Kuomintang also faced a similar circumstance, having received a bomb threat aimed at injuring Legislative Yuan speaker Han Kuo-yu.
