TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwan's Taoyuan Airport ranks 73rd in the latest global airport rankings released by air passenger rights organization AirHelp.
AirHelp's annual analysis assesses over 4,000 airports worldwide, considering factors such as on-time performance, customer service, dining, and shopping options, based on customer feedback.
In 2023, Oman's Muscat International Airport was named the world's best airport. Notably, Brazil and Japan had strong representation in the top ten airports, while the United States and Europe had no airports on the list.
Conversely, the rankings identified underperforming airports, with Indonesia having three in the bottom ten. Indonesia's Syamsudin Noor International Airport received the lowest rank, making it the least favored airport.
The diverse rankings illustrate global airports' ongoing efforts to meet passenger expectations and enhance the travel experience.
