KEELUNG (TVBS NEWS)  — Taiwan Navy's Dunmu Goodwill Fleet plans to resume its voyage after attracting nearly 100K people to Keelung Port as of Sunday (March 19).

The fleet arrived on March 7 on the last leg of its voyage. It consists of Panshih fast combat support ship, the Kang-Ding-class Cheng De frigate, and the Cheng Kung-class frigate Pan Chao.

And after stopping at seven ports around Taiwan, the fleet will set sail to visit Taiwan's diplomatic ties at the end of March.

More than 180 prospective military graduates will set sail for training.

The military has not revealed the countries that will be visited, but the fleet is expected to only go to countries of the South Pacific.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Dunmu Goodwill Fleet paused its training operations in 2020.
