TAIPEI (TVBS News) — McDonald's Taiwan announced on Friday (March 15) that some of its eateries, as well as its McDelivery service and food delivery platforms, are temporarily unable to conduct transactions due to Internet disruptions. The fast-food giant assured customers it is investigating the situation and making necessary repairs.
The Internet and phone-based ordering systems went down across McDonald's outlets worldwide. This widespread systemic failure has impacted consumers trying to place orders, both online and by phone.
McDonald's Taiwan issued a notification on its official website, stating that the interruption in service is due to system maintenance activities. As a result, the food ordering service will remain offline temporarily.
In response to the inconvenience caused to consumers, McDonald's is actively working on resolving the issue and conducting urgent system maintenance. The company expressed its regret over the inconvenience caused to customers.
