2024 Taipei 101 Run Up registration begins (TVBS News)
TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The highly-anticipated 2024 Taipei 101 Run Up is open for registration starting Thursday (March 14).
The race is set on May 4 and will consist of a grueling 91-story, 2,046-stair, 390-meter-high vertical challenge, making it one of the toughest stair-climbing events and a part of the Towerrunning World Cup.
The theme of this year's event is "WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS," and entry numbers are predicted to recognize pre-pandemic levels, welcoming approximately 5,000 participants.
The race specified registrations into four categories: TWA Elite, General Elite, Self-Challenge, and Team entries. Participants in the TWA Elite category will face a particularly demanding task, having to climb from the first to the 91st floor, and again from the first to the 59th floor.
Event organizers at Taipei 101 have added numerous products to the 2024 race packets and finish souvenirs. Participants can look forward to items like PaMi's Sun-Dried Noodles, discounted luxury room rates from Humble House Taipei, as well as a variety of corporate-sponsored products. They will also receive a 20% discount on Taipei 101 observatory tickets, available for purchase on the Stage@Taipei101 online platform.
