Sunny skies ahead: Taiwan‘s weather forecast reveals warmth (TVBS News)
TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Central Weather Administration (CWA) stated on Monday (March. 4) that the weather for today and tomorrow will mostly be sunny and stable.
Areas in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli provinces will see temperatures around 22 degrees Celsius, while Greater Taipei and the eastern regions will experience highs from 24 to 26 degrees.
Central and southern parts will see highs of 26 to 31 degrees, indicating warmer conditions, the CWA stated.
On Tuesday, the weather agency revealed that conditions will shift to a southwesterly wind, bringing mostly sunny skies across the region. However, areas in the southern region may experience scattered brief showers.
Meanwhile, high temperatures generally could exceed 30 degrees, especially in areas adjacent to the mountains or valleys where it may be even warmer on Tuesday.
By Thursday, the influence of a cold air mass from China is expected to change the weather drastically. The northern and northeastern regions will experience a cold day with high temperatures only reaching 15 to 16 degrees.
Weather expert Daniel Wu's latest model simulation shows another front approaching on Sunday, with the chance of brief showers in regions north of the central part is predicted to increase.
