TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwanese-Welsh actor and singer Rhydian Vaughan began his winter tour last Friday (Jan. 19) for his first album, "Seven." The Unplugged-style immersion performances allow him to share songs and relay the stories behind them.
Rhydian, known by his stage name Feng Xiaoyueh, has been particularly thrilled to perform two special songs during these winter tour performances. One is “Windmill,” a composition by Taiwanese rock icon Wu Bai, and the other is an English track, “Soaking in Divine,” which he dedicated to his beloved wife.
Rhydian disclosed during the tour that joining him in a harmonious duet is “Thai prince” Phum Viphurit. Viphurit's track, “Lover Boy,” has garnered nearly 100 million views on YouTube. Last year, Viphurit also performed at the Golden Melody Awards Ceremony.
Regarding the collaboration with Viphurit, a delighted Rhydian joked: “He’s tall and handsome, and he sang with me in harmony. It’s just fantastic.”
Rhydian shared his journey of delivering two performances in the winter tour, highlighting that the most memorable aspect was intimately connecting with fans by sharing his creative story up close.
Rhydian also announced during the tour an upcoming solo concert, titled “After the Show,” to be hosted at Legacy Taipei on March 9, the eve of his 36th birthday.
