New Taipei (TVBS News) — Japanese music group YOASOBI performed at the Zepp New Taipei on Sunday (Jan. 21) as part of their Asian tour, promising fans an encore in Taiwan.

The 80-minute concert attracted 2,000 spectators and featured popular songs like "Monster" and "Gunjou." Ayase, the band's composer, assured the audience they would return to Taipei for another performance.

Lead vocalist Ikura repeatedly expressed gratitude to Taiwanese fans during the concert. She also recited a letter in Mandarin, expressing her appreciation for Taiwanese support.

"To all our fans in Taiwan, thank you for attending our concert today. We are very blessed to spend time with you," she said. "We can return here because of the enduring support and love from our fans in Taiwan. We want to make our future dreams come true with all of you."

The concert concluded with the band performing "IDOL," the theme song to the popular anime "Oshi no Ko," prompting fans to cheer loudly and resulting in the night's highest excitement.

The event was organized by Fun Entertainment, which required real-name registration for tickets. They repeatedly warned against purchasing tickets of indeterminate origin. The organization confirmed that all identifications were carefully checked upon entry in the afternoon. A few fans without valid identification or mismatched names were denied entry without any major conflict on site.

Fun Entertainment further revealed they permitted a refund within three days following a ticket purchase. However, for those with unforeseen circumstances such as sudden military enlistment or health issues, they made allowances for ticket refunds if proof of inability to attend was shown.
