Taiwan Water Corporation seeks 221 new hires (Courtesy of TWC's website)
TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Taiwan Water Corporation (TWC) announced on Thursday (Dec. 28) that it intends to fill 221 entry-level job vacancies as part of an ongoing effort to supplement its grassroots workforce.
The TWC has set a starting salary of more than NT＄30,000 for formally employed staff. The recruitment, which begins on Jan. 19 and ends on Jan. 30, 2024, is open to anyone with a high school or vocational school diploma, regardless of age or gender.
TWC President Lee Tin-lai mentioned in a press release that the upcoming selection process aims to hire 165 technical staff and 56 operational staff.
The recruitment covers eight categories: operation, testing, renovation, engineering, business, meter reading, administration, and land affairs.
The selection process consists of a written test and an interview, and the testing date has been scheduled for May 18, 2024.
