Lu Cheng-fang, MP's chief of staff, emphasized the military's commitment to the government's anti-drug strategy, which involves close collaboration with law enforcement agencies in executing specialized drug interdiction operations.

During these joint operations, unannounced inspections by military police teams accompanied by drug-sniffing dogs led to the confiscation of over 50 kilograms of narcotics.

Consequently, Lu noted that more than 400 individuals were referred to judicial authorities for prosecution.

Lu stated that the MP bear the integral role of judicial police officers and are an essential part of the anti-drug task force, taking on the responsibility to combat drug trafficking with unwavering commitment.

Furthermore, the MP's Forensic Science Center has played a supportive role by analyzing controlled substances and urine samples collected during operations to prevent drugs from infiltrating society and the military.
