AIDC hits NT$35.8B revenue, eyes stronger 2024 outlook (TVBS News)
TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation's (AIDC) President Ma Wan-june on Tuesday (Dec. 12) announced that the company's revenue reached a whopping NT$35.8 billion by the end of November 2023.
Ma predicted that AIDC's operations across its three core sectors — commercial aviation, defense, and technological services — will outperform this year's figures in 2024.
This optimistic forecast is buoyed by the gradual rebound of the commercial aircraft business, which has led to a global shortage of aviation parts as suppliers struggle to meet the surging demand.
AIDC has continued to receive inquiries from aviation giants such as Boeing and Airbus, the AIDC president noted.
In addition to commercial ventures, Ma confirmed that AIDC is on track to deliver 18 Brave Eagle advanced jet trainers in 2024, suggesting robust performance in the military sector as well.
Further consolidating its commitments, AIDC met its annual goal by handing over the last four Brave Eagle jets on Tuesday, culminating in a total of 17 aircraft deliveries for the year.
