Chunghwa Post opens recruitment to incentivize workforce (TVBS News)
TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Chunghwa Post announced plans on Wednesday to recruit 1,021 full-time employees, with a waiting list of 451 applicants for this year. Online registration started that day and will remain open until Nov. 29.
Candidates with at least a high school diploma or higher educational qualifications are eligible to apply. The expected monthly salaries range from NT＄38,880 to NT＄53,480.
Initial testing is scheduled for Jan. 7 next year in Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung. Candidates who excel in the first stage will advance to a speaking test and fitness assessment on Feb. 24 and 25. Those receiving full-time offers are expected to commence their roles by Feb. 28, 2025, at the latest.
The recruitment drive aims to address the increasing number of vacancies anticipated due to retirements at the end of 2024.
The selection process will consist of two stages. The first stage will assess applicants based on their writing test scores, determining their eligibility to proceed. The second stage involves a speaking test and fitness assessment. The number of candidates advancing to the second stage will be twice the number of full-time positions available.
