HSINCHU (TVBS News) — Taiwan's armed forces "mascots" gave an entertaining dance performance on Thursday (Sept. 21) during the rehearsal for the new base opening at Hsinchu County's Hukou Township.
Taking to the stage, the mascots showcased their dance skills, bouncing to the beat with choreographed steps.
In preparation for the official opening of the military base to the public on Sunday (Sept. 24), the military pulled out all the stops to celebrate and showcase their "talents" and combat skills.
At the event, CM-11 Brave Tiger battle tanks, CM-32 "Clouded Leopard" armored vehicles, Apache helicopters armed with rockets, and Indian Challenger motorcycles were also brought out to demonstrate their battle capabilities.
Marching bands and a flag ceremony will also be on the roster of performances set for Sunday's event.
Visitors must bring their national identification cards, driver's licenses, or health insurance cards to enter the base.
