英國物理學大師史蒂芬•霍金（Stephen Hawking）今（14日）與世長辭，引發各界哀悼。21歲被診斷出罹患漸凍症的霍金，55年來未向命運低頭，致力於研究宇宙奧秘，被譽為是愛因斯坦（Albert Einstein）之後最傑出的理論物理學家。除了眾所皆知的高智商，霍金的一生也說出無數名言，蘊藏著人生大智慧。
綜合外媒報導，霍金此生成就無數，雖然始終和「諾貝爾獎」無緣，但他勇於對抗病魔的故事卻更為人所津津樂道。除了超高智商和學術成就，霍金的人生哲理也絲毫不遜色，經常說出蘊含大智慧卻又不失幽默的金句，因此在他過世後，許多媒體紛紛整理出霍金生前的名言，希望世人永遠記得這名物理學巨擘。

1. 「在我 21 歲時，我的期望值變成了零。自那以後，一切都是賺到的。」
