TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The 2026 Taiwan International Specialty Coffee Festival commenced at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center (高雄展覽館) on Friday (March 6), promising to draw tens of thousands of attendees over its four-day run. Organizers aim to spotlight Southeast Asia's unique coffee flavors by inviting specialty brands from Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia.
The expo focuses on trends in the specialty coffee market, connecting nearly 50 renowned coffee brands and equipment suppliers from across Taiwan. Organizers describe Taiwan's expanding specialty coffee market as robust, with the southern region's consumer power playing a significant role.
Notable exhibitors include Muyi coffee (木易), LINSUN COFFEE (林桑), KASASAGI COFFEE ROASTERS (鵲咖啡), OKLAO (歐客佬), and Billions Corp (十億國際). These exhibitors offer enticing deals, with Wells cafe (井井咖啡) selling two packs of specialty beans for NT$500 (approximately US$15.80) and Muyi coffee offering three packs for NT$1,000 (approximately US$31.61).
iDrip's smart coffee machine brand has launched the iBarista coffee machine at a promotional price of NT$14,900 (approximately US$470.95). Chennai Coffee (喜奈而咖啡) highlights its Dark Lord infrared roasting machine starting at NT$13,900 (approximately US$439.35). Billions Corp offers a minimum 15% discount on the FELLOW series, and STTOKE specialty thermal cups are available at the same discount rate. WOKY (沃廚) provides a promotional gift of brand socks with qualifying purchases.
