TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taipei will illuminate the city with vibrant lights during the 2026 Taipei Lantern Festival, scheduled from Feb. 25 to March 15. The festival will take place around Ximending (西門町) and the Taipei Expo Park (花博公園). Taipei Tianhou Temple (台北天后宮), celebrating its 280th anniversary, will showcase handcrafted lanterns and a special installation that blends traditional blessing culture with modern art.
